November 17 is a great day for comic fanatics. It’s the much awaited release of the Justice League movie. On the other hand, it is also a superb day for Mercedes-Benz to showcase three of its latest masterpiece as viewers will see Bruce Wayne’s Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo, Wonder Woman’s E-Class Cabriolet and a cameo role of its G-Class 4×4² along with Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash. “The E-Class Cabriolet is a natural fit for Wonder Woman. And who other than Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, would be more inclined to drive a car like the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo?”, said Jens Thiemer, Vice President of Marketing for Mercedes-Benz Cars.

The Gran Turismo concept car was debuted in 2013 featuring an AMG V-8 engine with 577 horsepower and a 590 lb-ft torque. What was added for the movie are the flashy new interior, racing seats, a virtual dashboard, and a 10% enlargement from its concept size to fit Ben Affleck’s 6’4” built. Gordon Wagener, Daimler AG Chief Design Officer is thus proud to say that “the film industry was inspired by [them] and [that their] Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo became the car for a super hero.”
Of course, such great feats should be marketed at equally great lengths. TV ads, social media blitzes and six exclusive digital comic stories at Mercedes-Benz Instagram account will be released starting October 20. As of this writing, sponsored plugs have been seen on Facebook.
Henry Cavill, Raymond Fisher, Jason Momoa, and Ezra Miller join Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot as the superheroes of Justice League. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.
