Is Jaguar hinting at reviving the XK?

Jaguars are great cars. Not only are they great to look at but also great to drive. For one, they have the classic British feel. They’ll break easily but hey, that’s the price you get for buying from blokes. It’s very rude but in a nice likeable way.

“Sorry I ran over your boyfriend, love.” *girl starts crying* “In my Jag.” *girls stops crying and smiles*

See what I mean? Jags are the sort of cars you’d take to a long vacation in a hotel in the middle of nowhere flirting with the waitresses. They’re mean but in a nice way; sort of like Loki.

But anyway, Jaguar’s boss recently said something about a hint of a new sports car. Does this mean that they’ll build an all new model or simply revive the old XK?

He admits that the F-type has been a big hit with the crowds and that production won’t stop any time soon. However, it’s getting a little bit old and crowds are getting a little bit fed up with it.

Even the chief designer at Jaguar admits that the car he helped design is doing great but, like all cars, not as it once was. He admits that he neither admits nor denies that they’re making another one.

The F-type came with 6 engines and 2 gearboxes which, depending on what you bought could give you naught to sixty times of between 5.1 to 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of anywhere between 161 to 200 miles an hour.

Of course, prices weren’t cheap. Starting at $97,000 all the way up to $300,000, you had a car that suited your needs as well as everyone’s needs. And the new one is slated to bring in the same amount of money as the F-type.

Let’s rock!
